The Middle School curriculum is an American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards-based education program. Teachers teach standards-based student learning and assessments.
The curriculum is composed of the following core subjects:
- Social Studies,
- Spanish (for both native and foreign language speakers).
The following non-core subjects provide a comprehensive and robust curriculum:
- Physical Education
- Technology (which is integrated in all subject areas)
- We offer an innovative wheel program where seventh and eighth-grade students can select up to 4 courses (1 each quarter) to explore an interest, examine new areas to develop skills, and try out new ideas. These offerings change based on student interest. Courses offered currently include:
- Computer Programming
- Technology Apps
- Research Writing
- along with Art, Music, Choir, Technology and support classes.
