High School Ecology Club:

The High School Ecology Club meets every Thursday during lunch.  This club conducts community service projects for indigenous villages and takes many interesting weekend field trips into the interior of Panama.  Their activities include regular beach clean ups, turtle watching, whale watching, snorkeling, reef clean-ups and much more. The club has also taken field trips to the Galapagos Islands.

High School Dragon Council:

The High School Dragon Council meets every Monday during lunch. They organize and plan all Dragon Activities for the year, manage the master calendar for all High School Club activities, send representatives to PTSO meetings, and approve all student club activities within the High School. They participate in annual AASCA Leadership Conferences and hosted the 2011 AASCA Leadership Conference.

High School Debate Club:

The High School Debate Club meets every Monday afterschool. This club prepares for many important international debate events including CEPMOAS, PANAMUN, and THIMUN. Every other year this club hosts its own international Mock United Nations Conference, BAMUN.

National Honor Society:
The National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in 1921 in the United States by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.  NHS promotes recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service.  Far from being simply a reward for high academic achievement, the National Honor Society is a functioning, active group whose members seek to be outstanding leaders and role models for the school community and to promote the ideals of Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service among all students.

High School French Club:

The High School French Club organizes trips to France every other year. They gather at lunch meetings to watch French programs, sing French songs, and learn useful French phrases for travel. Their activities in France have included scavenger hunts in the Louvre, climbing the Eiffel Tower, Easter Vigil Mass in Sacre Cour, visits to castles in the Loire Valley, trips to St. Michel in Normandy, and much much more!

The High School Art Club:

The High School Art Club hosts an Art show every year in April. Students display their AP Art portfolios and non-AP students showcase their best pieces of the year. Students paint pieces during the show that are auctioned off at the end of the night. Every other year students organize trips to visit the great art galleries of New York City.

Operation Smile:

Operation Smile is a service club dedicated to changing the world one smile at a time. This club raises money and awareness for helping correct the smiles of children born with cleft palates.  The students have participated in regional Operation Smile Youth Conferences and have volunteered in Operation Smile missions in the interior of Panama. One member has participated in the International Operation Smile Conference in Beijing, China, in August 2011.
