College Enrollment

Balboa Academy utilizes NWEA's Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests to measure student achievement in reading, language usage and math. MAP tests are given in fall and spring of each year to grades 3-9. In the spring, grade 2 also takes the MAP test. The MAP test is a US standards aligned computerized adaptive assessment that accurately reflects the instructional level of each student and measures growth over time.
